Its funny that some how the words Ferrari and Eco Friendly do not actually feel right being spoken in the same sentence, yet this is exactly what the prancing horse people have put together.

It is called the Ferrari Millechili, which means a thousand kilos, and indeed the new car is actually nearly 400 kg less in weight than the Enzo, in fact the car is much smaller in many ways, because smaller and lighter cars require smaller engines, braking systems and so on that is the eco part of the project.

This car is in fact a result of a design competition to create a eco friendly car that is in fitting with the Ferrari stable of cars, and yet can be considered to be eco friendly.

This car is made from paper and plastic, which tells you that the car is only a concept car, which will not reach the roads, but possibly some ideas or part of the design may be used at a later date when Ferrari bring out their next car.

Ferrari are embracing the change in the attitude to the high octane fuel burners these days, they believe that they can keep the essence of Ferrari, by building smaller and lighter cars, which will use less fuel.
