The famous Fiat 500 was offered for sale on the fiat500.com website, in keeping with the theme they placed only 500 cars on the site, as this appeared to be great number to start with, but astonishingly all 500 have been ordered already, in fact the limited editions were actually all gone within a mere two hours.

However, despite being too late to order there have also been thousands of enquiries for the little car, based on the classic Fiat 500 that whizzed around the small European streets nearly fifty years ago.
The limited edition car, will be in white and has been designed by a famous Italian furniture designer, Giulio Cappellini, each car is individually numbered and is bound to become a future classic.

For those who did not get chosen for the limited edition 500 models, there is always the 4th July 2007, when the car will be officially launched, there is so much interest in the car that even then it may be difficult to obtain one, the advertising and hype that has surrounded the Fiat 500 has been done very well, they have almost created a brand without a product, making it hip and trendy to even talk about the car, I can’t wait to them on the road and exactly if all the expectations have been worth it.
