After the sale of Aston Martin to the Pro Drive organization, there have been many rumors of what brand will be put up for sale next? There was talk of BMW being interested in Volvo, but was this ever going to happen? The answer is probably no. More realistically is the two other British brands of Jaguar and Land Rover, it makes sense for Ford to sell these two brands either as one or separate organizations.

Now it does appear that the people from Ford have been talking to the people at Fiat, did they discuss the sale of one or both of these car companies? Or was it something else? Naturally we can only read between the line, not that there are many lines to read between in the first place. The problem with Fiat is would they really consider being saddled with the likes of Jaguar and Land Rover? True they are well established brands but they no longer have a niche market, which is not in their favor.

Eventually we will see the auto makers like Ford just be Ford again, concentrating on their own brand, and core of customers, maybe this is the downfall of the auto industry in the past they have all tried to be number one not by creating great cars but by creating big organizations.
