Obviously the Buggati Veyron is on top, but does it count? Yes it is the most expensive car, but limited in availability etc, but for I suppose its rightful place is at the top of the list, the rest are fairly straight forward though it is amazing how many cars fall in the three to four hundred thousand dollar range.

Considering the values on the list is surprising how low the cost of the Maserati looks against the top five or six other cars.
Here is the list:
Top ten most expensive cars in US
Bugatti Veyron 16.4 $1.4 million
Maybach 62S $428,750
Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren 722 Edition $482,750
Rolls-Royce Drop head Coupe $412,000
Lamborghini Murcielago LP640 Roadster $362,400
Bentley Azure $337,085
Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano F1 $280,295
Aston Martin DB9 Volante convertible $175,550
Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet $136,500
Maserati Quattroporte Automatic Executive GT $126,500

So there you have it, but of course these effectively the starting prices for each brand and model, there are other models available and the price can take a very step incline depending on your preferences and what optional extras you choose too. For example the average Ferrari order comes with between $20,000 and $50,000 worth of optional extras or personalization’s, so you see the prices are irrelevant to actual price paid any one car.

Hard for me to imagine anyone spending that kind of money on a car. I guess they do. Thanks for sharing. My eyes are now open.
