The Maserati Quattroporte is quite simply a fantastic car on its own. To mess with it under normal circumstances would be a sacrilege. When the German tuner Novitec do anything, the last that can be said about their work is that they have messed around with the car.

So they have left the body alone. What have they done? Changed the wheels! The wheels have been replaced by some nice twenty inch rims covered with Pirelli P Zero’s 285/30 on the rear and 245/35 on the front. The main piece of work is in the engine department. Novitec has optimized the 4.2-liter V8’s ECU and raised cut-off speed to 7.800 rpm slightly lifting power from 400Hp @ 7.000 rpm to 413Hp @ 7.100 rpm, and maximum torque from 451Nm @ 4.500 rpm to 468Nm @ 4.650 rpm. To finish it off, a new exhaust system has been added.

To finish off the Maserati, tuners have changed the suspension to a dual adjustable system with stainless steel shock absorbers. Unfortunately, there are no figures as to what exactly these adjustments will be doing for the car, but the increase in power, suspension change, new wheels and tires, means only one thing: more power equals more speed. Lets face it, the Novitec Maserati Quattroporte is not going to be going slower!
