Years ago, when a wealthy playboy type wanted a bespoke car, he did not go to Ferrari or any other high end sports car maker, they were just too common. So where did they go? They would travel to Italy or somewhere similar and find sports cars companies like F & M who would build a car to their own requirements.
Alas those days are gone, but F & M have brought back this tradition and are now offering the Antas a very high end car built to your own specifications, for around €400,000 ($500,000) all you to do is cough up the cash, make a couple of visits to the factory in Tuscany, Italy and oh did I mention take your own engine along!
You see they don’t do engines, or any of the dirty bits, so after you have paid your money and made your choices, you also need to provide a donor car, they suggest a Ferrari 599 GTB, BMW M6 or a Dodge Viper, but it is up to you, one of the wrecked super cars might do, and you get pick them up cheap!!
After about one year you should be able to pick your new F & M Antas from the factory in Italy just in time for the Gumball 3000!!
