The fantastic electric car company Tesla, are gearing up to sell their famous power to other car companies, in a move to expand the Bay area company have just announced a great deal with the Norwegian electric car company “Think” you may remember them as once being partners with the Ford Motor Company, the deal fell apart for one reason or another.

Think have sign a deal with Tesla for the supply of the Battery packs that make the Tesla car so great. The battery packs installed I the Tesla cars can be simply plugged into a socket at home or work, and within four hours the battery pack is fully charged and ready to drive the 200 or miles that they state you can, with this incredible technology it is clear to see why other car companies would want to get involved with it.

The deal between Think and Tesla is believed to be worth around $43 million to Tesla, but the money is only half the story, this deal will promote the Tesla Motors sports car and their technology, launching the brand onto the world stage, this could be the beginning of something big the small start up.

Single-occupancy access to all carpool lanes
Income tax credit (awaiting new legislation)
A luxury car that’s fully exempt from the luxury car tax
Free parking at charging stations at LAX
No parking meter fees in an increasing number of major metropolitan areas
Around one cent per mile cost
Two hour charge time
200 miles between charges

Interesting times ahead for the Tesla Motor Company.
