After being duped by a bogus buyer on eBay, actor and film producer John Schneider, better known as “Bo Duke” on the classic TV series The Dukes of Hazard, has once again put the poor old General Lee up for sale, with a starting bid of $100,000 US.
The car was famously “Bought” by anonymous buyer on eBay a couple of weeks ago for a massive bid of nearly ten million dollars, this money was going to go toward the production of the actor next movie, which obviously is on hold for now.
Having learned his lesson, John Schneider is requiring all bidders to pre register before being able to place a bid on the car, which never actually appeared in any of the episodes of the show, but is signed by some of the cast members, their signatures appear on the cars bonnet.
The auction is set to end on the 29th May 2007, unfortunately though I notice that there have been no bids entered so far, perhaps they think that there are just too many of these cars around!
