The weekends Goodwood Festival of Speed usually attracts a few new cars, but in the past has mainly been about cars from yesteryear like old racing cars from the sixties and some very classy and very expensive privately owned sports cars.
But this year for some reason was different, first we see the new McLaren Mercedes SLR, but for my money the best sighting was that of the Nissan GT-R, this was last seen sitting at a gas station somewhere in New Mexico, here it was hear at Goodwood and on track too.

The only parts of the car that had been covered up was the front and rear ends, no detailing or lighting could be seen apart from some little gaps just enough to allow the head lights to peek through when necessary.

The engine had that muscle car sound, the deep groan as it was put through its paces, and even though the weather was not at its best, the crowds were suitably impressed.
This was a clever tactic by Nissan to tease the public, and the media once more, and they certainly did enough to do that properly, the launch of this car is going to be one of the most eagerly awaited for Nissan for some time, this car has the potential to launch Nissans attack on the strong hold that Toyota have at the moment.
