Audi have confirmed that the US will be getting the fabulous RS4 Cabriolet next year (2008) but there will only be 300 cars sold and they will be arriving in the US by the end of this year.

The car is powered by the same engine as the RS4 sedan which will produce around 420 bhp, and only comes with a six speed manual gearbox and all wheel drive, for the 19 inch RS4 alloy wheels covered with the 255/35/19 high performance tires.

There are two option packages available:

The Audi Titanium -Titanium colored 19 inch RS4 style alloy wheels, black front grille, black side window moldings, black interior headliner and black interior trim, the cost of this package is $750.

The Audi Exclusive - Crimson red leather seat centers, with contrasting black leather side bolster, head rests and door trims, contrasting red piping around the seats, red stitching on gear shift and steering wheel, black interior, carpeted floor mats with RS4 logos with contrasting piping and Audi Exclusive badges. The cost of this package will be $3,800.

Sirius Radio and Blue tooth hands free cell phone connectivity are part of the standard equipment.

This is an exciting development and the Audi RS4 Cabriolet will probably sell out very fast indeed.
